Sveaverken Auto Steer System Updates - 2025 Spring Update
translate

Spring plowing is a critical phase in the farming cycle, requiring precision, efficiency, and the right tools to maximize yield. Farmers must complete essential tasks like sowing, spraying, and fertilizing within a short window, making tractor operations and smart farming equipment indispensable. However, as farming technology advances, so do the expectations for more efficient, automated, and data-driven solutions.

That’s why Sveaverken has introduced the 2025 Spring Update for its auto-steering systems, featuring new enhancements that make precision agriculture even more seamless. This upgrade focuses on better navigation, smarter diagnostics, and improved ease of use, giving farm operators more control and efficiency over their fields.

What’s New in the 2025 Spring Update?

Combination Line: Smarter Guidance for Complex Fields

Application scenario: When there are straight lines and curve lines at the boundary, the user will want the created guidance lines to adjust more closely to the shape of the boundary. If the user can only create curved guidance lines, the lines may not be straight enough to suit their needs.

Traditional guidance lines like Straight, Curve, and Pivot cover most farming needs, but what if your field boundaries include both straight and curved sections? The new Combination Line feature lets you create a customized guidance path that seamlessly adapts to diverse field shapes.

To activate Combination Line, follow these simple steps:

  • Tap the Guidance Line and Boundary button on the homepage.
  • Select Combination Line and tap the Record button.

  • Drive forward, and begin recording the curve line operation path.
  • Tap Pause, and begin making a straight line.

  • After driving to the target point, tap Continue, the current point and pause point will be connected in a straight line.

  • Drive forward to continue recording the curve line.

  • Tap Finish button to complete guidance line creation.

On-Board Diagnostics (OBD): Real-Time Equipment Monitoring

Application scenario: Monitor the operational data of tractor directly on the control terminal display.

Stay informed with tractor health insights! The OBD system integrates with your auto-steering display, providing real-time updates on engine speed, oil pressure, temperature, and more. This means you can spot potential issues early, reducing the risk of downtime during peak spring plowing.

Key Benefits

  • Proactive Maintenance – Fix problems before they escalate.
  • Reduced Downtime – Keep your equipment running smoothly.
  • Integrated with Farm Management – Plan maintenance with data-driven insights.

By using OBD data, farmers can optimize machine performance and increase operational reliability.

Quick Import & Auto-Debug: Faster Setup, Smarter Adjustments

Application scenario: When calibrating, by selecting vehicle type, brand, and model, some vehicle's basic parameters can be filled in automatically. Auto-Debug can automatically adjust the system according to a vehicle's parameters (vehicle type, horsepower, vehicle physical parameters, motor version, and angle sensor type, etc.).

Save time with automated calibration! Configuring auto-steering systems can be complex, but the Quick Import & Auto-Debug features simplify the process. By automatically filling in key vehicle parameters, the system optimizes steering adjustments, making setup faster and hassle-free.

Electric Power Steering: Less Effort, More Control

Application scenario: When it takes more effort to manually turn the steering wheel.

Turning a manual steering wheel can be physically demanding, especially in long plowing sessions. The new Electric Power Steering feature reduces the effort needed to turn the wheel, improving maneuverability and comfort.

Auto Record Modes: Smarter Field Tracking

Recording field data is essential for precision farming. The 2025 update introduces two new Auto Record modes:

  • Acre Recording Sensor – Detects implement movement via hitch angles.
  • Lift Sensor Mode – Tracks lifting height for accurate data collection.

This ensures more precise coverage and improves farm data management.

Easy Switch: Instant Manual/Auto Mode Toggle

Switching between manual and auto-steering has never been easier. With a single button press or foot pedal tap, operators can seamlessly switch driving modes, giving them better control over field operations.

Demo Mode: A Better Way to Experience Auto-Steering

Application scenario: A better demo for customers!

For those new to precision farming, the Demo Mode provides a hands-on experience of the auto-steer system, allowing users to test different functions, including manual intervention and steering adjustments.

Account Login Security: Protect Your Equipment Data

Benefit: Equipment security & data security.

To enhance equipment security, the Device Usage Restriction Switch ensures that only authorized users can operate the system. Owners can control access permissions, preventing unauthorized logins.

Maximize Your Spring Farming Efficiency

With these new software updates, Sveaverken continues to innovate in precision agriculture, making spring plowing, planting, and farm management more efficient, accurate, and effortless.
