Automating Feed Pushing with Nimbo: Agxit, Hasselmann and Sveaverken Bring Automation to German Farms
translate

In Northern Germany, farming automation is pushing ahead, with Sveaverken's Nimbo leading the way. The latest video from Sveaverken showcases our partnership with regional distributor agxit GmbH & Co. KG and Hasselmann, based in Hagen.

In the video, we meet Daniel from agxit GmbH & Co. KG—Sveaverken’s distributor in Northern Germany.

Together with Hasselmann, a long-standing agricultural equipment provider based in Hagen, Daniel has helped introduce the Nimbo feed pusher to farms across the region. While Sveaverken handles the innovation and product development, it’s local partners like Daniel and Hasselmann ensure that farmers receive the support, service, and product training they need to succeed.

Automation That Saves Time

As Daniel explains in the video, automation in farming isn’t just a convenience anymore—it’s a growing necessity. “Looking ahead, digitalization and automation will be the biggest challenges of agriculture,” he notes. That’s exactly why Sveaverken’s approach stood out.

Beyond offering capable technology, the team demonstrated something just as important: genuine intent. “They have a clear commitment to helping farmers get the most out of their operations,” Daniel says. That kind of support, combined with solid product performance, made it easy to get behind the Nimbo lineup.

For Daniel, feed pushing is a perfect use case. It’s repetitive, time-sensitive, and doesn’t need a human touch. Automating it, he says, “not only boosts efficiency but also offers farmers more flexibility in managing their schedules.”

That flexibility is critical for today’s farms—where labor can be unpredictable and time is always in short supply. For Daniel and his customers, tools like Nimbo aren’t just helpful. They’re part of a smarter way forward.

A Hands-On Demo at the Farm

Later in the video, Daniel takes us to a nearby farm where a Nimbo unit is already running. Seamlessly (and quietly) pushing feed along the alley, the robot fits effortlessly into the daily routine—no complex setup, no babysitting. Nimbo does its job with minimal oversight, allowing farmers to focus on bigger priorities.

What impressed the team most was how little upkeep the system demands. Aside from occasional camera glass cleaning and checking the rubber seal, there’s very little to worry about. No complicated maintenance routines or specialized tools—just simple checks and stable operation, day after day.

Ready to Automate?

For dealers like Agxit in Northern Germany, automation is the latest, practical way to bring real change to modern farms.

With Nimbo, feed pushing is no longer a time-consuming chore. It’s fully managed (even remotely!), allowing farmers to focus on more important work, whether that’s herd health, maintenance, or planning the next season.

Sveaverken continues to work closely with dealers and distributors like Agxit to bring these solutions to more farms across Europe.
